He is survived by: his children, Marilyn Karsten of Hutchinson, Rodney Schlieman (Trudy) of Holloway, Laurie Giese (Kevin) of Hancock and Tammy Ramon (Beto) of Spicer; his grandchildren, Cathy Precht (Quint), Christopher Karsten (Jacquelyn), Ben Schlieman (Kelsey), Lauren Nelson (Brandon), Kara Schlieman, Nathan Giese (Heather), Nicholas Giese (Ashley), Alyssa Trew (Jake), Megan Ramon, Katie Nikolic (Nikola) and Leah Ramon; his siblings, Valora Greseth of Appleton, Elmer Schliemann (Audrey) of Appleton and Harold Schlieman (LaVonne) of Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Iver Lien (Dorla), Harvey Weber, Roger Lien (Marlys), Harry Lien and Gladys Labraaten.
