She was predeceased by: her parents, Emery Phillips and Mary Phillips (Persicke); her husband Lyle Skappel; her siblings, Shirley Sjoquist, Emery and Lyle; her nieces, Rebecca Ruona and Debra Johanneck; her son-in-law Paul Johnson; her parents-in-law, Fred and Stella Jones; and her great grandchild Raider.
She is survived by: her children, Vickie Johnson of Litchfield, Barbara Bauman (Ken) of Richmond, Steven Skappel (Judi) of Becker and Bruce Skappel (Cindy) of Albertville; and her sisters, Colleen Engert of Portland, OR and Joyce Holm of Shoreview. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild due in June; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
