He was predeceased by : his parents, Erbin Piehl and Marie Piehl (Sell); his son Alan; and his brother Ralph Piehl. He is survived by : his wife Bernice Bandas; his son Dean (Ardyce); his grandchildren, Drew Piehl and Emily Portillo (Ed); his great grandchild Milo Portillo; and his sister Myra Bushard. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A mass of christian burial was held on Friday, February 26th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (720 Main St W, Silver Lake, MN 55381).
