It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillian M. Friendt of Hutchinson, Minnesota, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Beck and Alvhild Beck (Sjursen); her husband John Friendt; and her brother-in-law Carl Lindhag. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Platisha (Chuck) of Hutchinson, MN, Steve Friendt of Hutchinson, MN, Jeff Friendt (Mary) of International Falls, MN and Kathy Chalupnik (Ken) of Surprise, AZ; her stepdaughter Kay Ballas (Pete) of Antigo, WI; her grandchildren, Heather Platisha (Anthony Fiarito), Bryan Platisha (Jessica), Rob Friendt (Kara), Amanda Woolley (Matt), Sarah Chalupnik, Ashly Chalupnik and Amy Chalupnik; her great grandchildren, Luca Fiarito, Cooper Platisha, Berkley Platisha, Bozeman Platisha, Eden Platisha, Isla Woolley, Asher Woolley and Lily Friendt; and her sister Naomi Lindhag of International Falls, MN. She is also survived by Many Nieces, Nephews, and other relatives and friends.
