She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Young and Emily Young; her husband Arle Wallace Schlecht; and her siblings, Carol Smith, Ramona Bomstad, Joyce Roepke, Lois Hollan, Gene, Don and Jim Young.
She is survived by: her children, Arlie Jr. Shortly (Kathleen), Ginny Zeyer and Lane (Donna); her sisters, Linda Kunerth, Susie Lindgren (Bruce) and Ruth Buchholz; and her grandchildren, John Charles Zeyer (Ann), Lindsay Zeyer, Matthew Schlecht, Samantha Jergenson (Troy), Mackenzie Childress (Chris), Shawn Johansen (Kayla), Tyler Johansen, Stephanie Fratzke (Jason), Amber Brick (Jesse) and Cassandra Medinger. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
