It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Loretta Hoppe of International Falls, Minnesota, born in Baudette, Minnesota, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Smith and Viola Smith; her husband Arvid Hoppe; and her sisters, June Carrier (Don) and Margie Crawford (Roger).
She is survived by: her children, Janice Melbo of International Falls and Arvid Hoppe (Bonnie) of Bemidji; her grandchildren, Kristy Pittman, Kelly White (Brian), Kevin Melbo (Jessica Tran), Krystle Hoppe (Joe Rosso) and Tyler Hoppe; her great grandchildren, Hannah Jurvakeinen (Max), Amelia and Emily White; and her siblings, Maryvon Jorgenson (Scratch), Roy Smith and George Smith (Carol). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
