Leslie B. McKenzie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leslie B. McKenzie of Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Leslie was predeceased by: wife Marilyn; son-in-law Michael Wiedewitsch; and siblings, Lyle, Beth, Dorothy, Barb and Beverly.
Leslie is survived by: children, Cindy Wiedewitsch (Terry Scott), Cheryl Golden (Paul), Jeff (Michele Gilb) and Mark (Erin Hood); grandchildren, Adam (Tannicha Vialva), Peter Wiedewitsch, Sarah, Laura Scott, Carly, Griffin McKenzie, Kelcey Jo Gilb, Grace Beissel (Tom) and Michael McKenzie (Bre Erickson); and brother Joe. Leslie is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, January 19th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel (3075 Vermillion St, Hastings, MN 55033). A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 19th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Simley High School IGH Best Foundation for the benefit of the "Leslie B. McKenzie Scholarship" http://www.ighbestfoundation.com. or the Golden Harbor Association in Crosslake, MN.
