With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George W. Smith of Isle, Minnesota, born in Waseca, Minnesota, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his father David G. Smith; and his daughter Toni Smith. He is survived by : his mother Nona M. Smith (Root) of New Richland, MN; his wife Patti Smith of Isle, MN; his daughters, Tia Lilley of Great Bend, KS and Tricia Viegra of Great Bend, KS; his stepchildren, Tyler Mermis of Great Bend, KS, Taryn Baca of Goodyear, AZ and Tierney Mermis of Great Bend, KS; and his siblings, Kathy Connelly (Tom) of St. Thomas, MN, Rebecca Smith of Coon Rapids, MN, Jeffrey Smith (Deb) of Medford, MN, Jana Ebnet (Gary) of Castle Rock, CO and Robert Smith (Dorine) of New Richland, MN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral Location: Due to Covid 19 a private family service will be held at Le Sueur River Lutheran Church in New Richland, MN.
