He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Myrna Rae Hammer (Scharmer); his children, Gregary Hammer (Katie), Robert Hammer (Laura) and Karen Garrett (Shannon); his sister Louise Smith (Hammer); and his grandchildren, Andrea Dehn (Curt), Joshua Hammer, Jesse Hammer, Jacob Hammer, Richard Hammer (Christy), Daniel Hammer, Zachary Hammer, Melinda Frazee (Mike), Brandy Royer (Robert) and Amber Garrett.
