He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dahlin and Gladys Dahlin (Anderson); his sister Gloria Hill; and his siblings-in-law, Lyle Bergandahl, Leland "Teel" Fransen, Dennis Turner, Lloyd Sorgatz and Bonnie Bergendahl.
He is survived by: his grandson Ben; his wife Marilyn; his children, Michael Dahlin of Sioux Falls, Eric Dahlin (Julie) of Jackson, Minnesota and Sonja Wilson (Kenneth) of Tomball, Texas; his grandchildren, Sara Wilson, Samantha Paul (Matthew), Sophie Theiss (Wesley) and Benjamin Dahlin; his great grandchildren, Gracey, Kilen, Presley Theiss, Kennedy and William Paul; and his sisters, Marjorie Erickson of Jackson, Mary Turner of Worthington and Diane Sather of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by children, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial to the family are preferred.
