She was predeceased by : her parents, Lloyd Dunlavey and Wilma Dunlavey (Schneider); her husband Doyle Skarda; her son Tom Skarda; and her siblings, Dortha Larsen (Dunavey) and Dick Dunlavey.

She is survived by : her sons, Kindergarten and Tim Skarda (Marcy Crain) of Minneapolis; and her granddaughters, Emily and Grace Skarda. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials should be sent to the First Presbyterian Church or charity of the donor's choice.
