Michael Leroy Thurmer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Leroy Thurmer of Jackson, Minnesota, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Myrtle Thurmer (Geiser) and Ted Thurmer; his brother Roger; and his parents-in-law, Ronald and Mary Ann Werner.
He is survived by : his former life partner Kathryn Werner; his wife Kathy; his sons, Matthew, Darci Thurmer of Jackson, MN, Nathan and Aili Thurmer of Jackson, MN; his grandchildren, Caleb, Caden, Alyse Thurmer and Isaiah Sathe; and his siblings, Sandy Thurmer (Stephanie Mudge), Dan (Mary Ann Thurmer), Mark (Jan Thurmer) and Pat (Karla Thurmer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Jackson American Legion, Jackson County Food Shelf or the Youth Ministry at First Baptist Church in Jackson or Gift of Life Transplant House or Donors choice.
