He was predeceased by : his parents, John Hartman and Helen Hartman (Jelen); his sister Patty Smith (Eugene "Dusty"); and his sister-in-law Jean Hartman. He is survived by : his brother Ken; his wife RoseMary Mechtel; his children, Don, Kevin, Keith, Nancy Hartman (Beckius), Anna Unger, Corinne Montgomery, Donna Hartman Erickson (Mike Johnson), Tammy Hartman (Whipps) and Lynda Hartman (Tuma); his grandchildren, Rachel Myers (Joel), Meghann Peterson (Nate), Lauren Beyer (Lucas), David Hartman (Hannah), Erica Unger, Stephanie Unger, Greg Montgomery (Mary), Rick Montgomery, Ashley Malz (Josh), Brian Hartman (Courtney), Josh Hartman and Jeffrey Hartman; his great grandchildren, Winnik, Emeric Montgomery, Luella Peterson, Aiden Malz, Levi Peterson, Lenora Hartman, Caleb Hartman, Cadance Myers, Addison Malz and Audrey Hartman; and his brothers, Eugene Hartman and Kenneth Hartman (Dianne). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
