He was predeceased by : his parents, Celestine "Sam" Gast and Anna Gast (Laumann); and his brothers, Art, Edwin and Duane.
He is survived by : his wife Agnes Gast; his children, Lori Adamek (Joseph), Mary Frey (Jeff), Craig Gast (Rebecca), Dale Gast (Vickie), Karen Wark (Gary) and Joel Gast; his brothers, Kenny Gast, Floyd Gast (Jan) and Ron Gast (Jeannie); and his sister-in-law Bev. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
