It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjean Schmoll of Kasson, Minnesota, born in Wabasha, Minnesota, who passed away on September 3, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Irish and Margaret Irish (Ball); her children, Susan Wondrasch and David Hammel; her sister LeeAnn Higgins; and her grandsons, Wesley Hammel and Alexander Hammel.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Gordon Hammel and Blaine Austad; her husband Ken; her children, Karen Smith (Robert), Cindy Hammel, Joanne Burke (Keith), Daniel Hammel and Blaine Austad; her children-in-law, Dewey Wondrasch and Diane Hammel; and her brother Glenn Irish (Wanda). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
