He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Hartman and Adeline Hartman (Middendorf); and his brother Wally Hartman. He is survived by : his former life partner Pamella Plevke; his wife Pam Hartman of Kasson; and his siblings, Pat Stroh (Jim), Sandy Altman (Ron), Judy Miller (Jerry), Gary Hartman (Patti), Randy Hartman (Yvonne) and Jim (Marcia Hartman). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
