With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherman O. Benson of Kenyon, Minnesota, who passed away on August 4, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Benson and Gilma Benson (Byholt); his former wife Evelyn L. Schlobohm; his daughter-in-law Deb Benson; and his siblings, Carmen Benson, Mavis Jech, Genette Tufte and Wally Benson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ann Schiefelbein (Behan); his children, Juli McCarlson (Mike) of Webster, SD, Judy Tuura (Tom) of Stover, MO, Craig Benson of Kenyon, MN and Susan Bartelt (Jon) of Minnetonka, MN; his stepchildren, Deb Shriver (Brian) of Urbandale, IA and Greg Schiefelbein (Donna) of Buffalo Center, IA; his siblings, Louise Schlobohm of Faribault, MN and Hilly Krahn of Portland, OR; and his brother-in-law Duane Schlobohm (Diane) of Faribault, MN. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
