He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis LaVern and Delores Ann Meyer (Rosenberg). He is survived by : his wife Colleen Dwyer of Waterville; his children, Joe Smith (Kristy) of Faribault, Danielle Meyer of Waterville, John Flaten (Becky) of Altoona, WI and Tim Flaten of Morristown; and his siblings, Linda Meyer (Lyn) and Bruce Edwards. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
