He was predeceased by: his brothers, Melford Brevig, Caroll Brevig and Arlyn Brevig; his brother-in-law Gerald Olson; and his niece Christine Rodgers.
He is survived by: his spouse Rosemary Byers; his children, Larry Brevig, Linda Walter (Jim), Mike Brevig (Nancee) and Karla Oitzman (Darryl); his grandchildren, Jason Brevig, Pam Brevig (Chatham), Laura A. Brevig, Shawn Brevig (Laura), Brad Brevig (Melissa) and Tyler Oitzman; and his siblings, Doris Olson and Ronald Brevig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
