He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredric Mahlke and Helen Mahlke (Keller); his sister Marion Lubinski (Robert); and his grandson Braeden Lee Mahlke. He is survived by: his wife Janice Colleen Heyroth; his brother Garry Mahlke (Jeanne) of Round Rock, TX; his children, Wayne Fischer, Steve (Leslye), Edward, Deborah Perry (Ken) and Veronica; and his grandchildren, Heather, Andrew, Wendy, Zach, Stacey, Crystal, Stephanie, Adam, Nicholas, Chayne and Chantel. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Ev. Lutheran Church (414 Main St, La Crescent, MN 55947). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
