It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Louise Vieths (Lake City, Minnesota), who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Janet shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Janet farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Oftedahl and Charlotte Oftedahl (Opem); her husband Clyde Vieths; her son Dean; her son-in-law Mark; and her sister Nancy Kells.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Anderson of Lake City, Lisa Kittleson (Sam) of Lake City and Holly Vieths of Lake City; her grandson Danny of Lake City; and her sister Elaine Bartz of Hastings.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the VFW Post 8729 (115 N Franklin St, Lake City, MN 55041).
