Robert Emory Hoops Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 14, 2026, at the age of 83, Robert Emory Hoops of Red Wing, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Hoops and Catherine Hoops (Coltenbaugh); and his sister Barbara. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Siewert; his daughters, Jodi Heitman (Steve) and Kathi Hoops-Soden (Troy); his sister Bonnie Dohrn; his granddaughters, Tiffanie Hoops (Kyle Pulsifer), Elizabeth Schulz (Gabe), Laura Quam (Logan), Callie Soden and Emily Heitman; and his great grandchildren, Juliette, Hudson Schulz and Nolan Quam.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church - Lake City (516 W Chestnut St, Lake City, MN 55041).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran School.
