He was predeceased by : his parents, Donald L. Mekeland and Arvala C. Mekeland (Wendt); and his brother David. He is survived by : his daughters, Crystal Jordan (Ryan) and Hailey; his grandchildren, Connor, Lillian, Ryder Jordan and Clara Mekeland; his stepson Monte Martin; and his siblings, Donald, Cheryl Blok (Marvin), Karen Hickok (Tom), Kathy Boelter and Patti Koehler.
