He was predeceased by : his parents, Erwin A. Balko and Irene Balko (Clift); and his sister Nancy Ferguson. He is survived by : his children, Heather McStay, Crystal Balko-Westerhausen (Barry), Robert E. Balko and Aimeejoy Balko; his stepchildren, Denise Branch and Jeff Johnson (KJ); and his siblings, Bette Speed (Dick), Patti Miesner and Everett Balko (Laura). He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
