She was predeceased by: her parents, Helene Rohwedder Riedel and Andrew Walter Riedel; her husband Harley Salzwedel of Lakefield; her sisters, Barb Koehler and Bev Gulden; and her grandson Justin Salzwedel.
She is survived by: her children, Wade Salzwedel (Deb) of Lakefield, MN, Marla Holcomb (Dan) of Rocky Face, GA, Rhea Block (Brian) of LeCenter, MN and Alan Salzwedel (Susan) of Okabena, MN.. She is also survived by her four children, nine grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (620 Bush St, Lakefield, MN 56150). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
