He was predeceased by : his son Sean Patrick; and his parents, Charlie and Shirley. He is survived by : his grandson Chuck; his wife Michelle Munson; his daughter Shannon Markley (David); his grandchildren, Kyle Lefel (Allison), Ashlyn Markley, Megan Markley and Carson Markley; and his brothers, Jim Thorne (Janice) and John Thorne. He is also survived by his nephews and niece.
