It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gretchen Louise Diegnau (Minneapolis, Minnesota), born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerritt Deiters (Larry) and Helen Lytle Deiters; her husband Ronald Diegnau; her brother Gary; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Deiters and Shirley Smith.
She is survived by: her brother-in-law Lawrence Smith; her children, Paul (Cindy) of Oakdale, MN and Suzanne Wasiluk (Bob) of Fayetteville, AR; her grandchildren, Christine Kim (Doohyuk) of Seoul, Jenna Wasiluk of Portland, OR, Mike Diegnau of Plymouth, MN and Kelsie Hull (Travis) of Farmington, AR; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Hull and Isla Kim. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Bloomington Chapel (2300 W Old Shakopee Rd, Minneapolis, MN 55431). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location.
