Though James Nicholas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Nicholas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Marlin "Gil" Gilhousen. He is survived by: his mother Elayne; his children, Nicholas Gilhousen and Emma Gilhousen; and the mother of his children Marsha. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Service/Memory Sharing Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel (6527 Portland Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423).
