Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Karen Lou Kurz of Lakeville, Minnesota, born in Bertha, Minnesota, who passed away at the age of 78, on July 16, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Franklin and Delores Franklin; her brothers, Larry, Dean and Lonny Franklin; and her grandson Noah Heglund.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Kurz; her son Kyle Kurz (Kelly); her grandchildren, Caleb, Lydia, Messai and Julia; her daughter Alison Heglund (Justin); and her grandchildren, Carleigh, Alayna, Abby of Isaac, EJ and Biruk. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Berean Baptist Church (309 County Rd 42 E, Burnsville, MN 55306). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
