It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Ruth Dorland of Lakeville, Minnesota, born in Mora, Minnesota, who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abel Kylander and Ragna Kylander (Bye); her husband Clark Dorland; her sister Eloise; and her siblings-in-law, Ernie Caltvedt, Yvonne and Eileen.
She is survived by: her children, David Dorland (Natalia) of Edina, MN, Mary Markus (Pete) of Carbonado, WA, Tim Dorland (Carol) of Kihei, HI and Liz Kurtenbach (Doug) of Cottonwood, MN.; and her siblings, John Edward Kylander, Paul Kylander, Audrey Kramer and Bill Kylander. She is also survived by grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
