He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard (Lenny) and Roselyn'Rosie' (McDonald); his siblings, Diane and Raymond; his parents-in-law, Gene and Terry Reisinger; and his siblings-in-law, Kurt, Mike, Sue and Michele.

He is survived by: his wife Meredith (Reisinger); his siblings, Lenny (Sandy) and Katherine'Kate'Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Cathy, Katie Oaks, Myra (Ricky), Buck (Carolyn) and Jeff (Julie); and his siblings' children, Hannah Rose Johnson, Jack Johnson, Melissa (Brad), Michael (Katie), Maria (Lucas), Lisa (Don), Joe (Rachael), Chad, Reed, Jayson (Phil), Cole (Jeanna), Nick, Kirsty (Kyle), Kylea (Andrew) and Christopher. He is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, family, and amazing friends.
