He was predeceased by : his parents, Goldie Lucille Belt (Jones) and James Edward Belt Sr.; his wife Sharon Marie Belt (Defoe); and his brother Donald Dexter Belt. He is survived by : his siblings, Joan Formo, Myrna Colliver, Valerie Parish (Roger) and Russell Belt (Karen); and his children, Cindy Molacek, Tamara Day (James), Mary Fallgren (Thomas), Jamie Lewis (Roxanne Lewis) and Donald DeFoe. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
