He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Thorstad and Hazel Thorstad (Sorum); and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his sister Kathy Thorstad of Dell Rapids, SD; and his nieces and nephews, Karrie Richie of Waxahachie, TX, Chris Larson of Valley Springs, SD, Mechelle Posner of Bemidji, MN, Fan Spears, Melissa Ferguson of Riverlea and Hamilton.
