It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eileen Olson (Little Falls, Minnesota), born in Staples, Minnesota, who passed away on June 1, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anselm J. and Julie L. Wrede (Nelson); her former husbands, Wilton Ploof and Clayton Olson; her son John Ploof; and her siblings, Veronica Nelson, Bernice Ferris, Juleen Bush and Leonard Wrede.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Ploof (Carolyn) of Sauk Centre, Mary Gaffke of Little Falls, Melanie Gaffke (Brian) of Sauk Rapids, Michelle Backowski (Steve) of Little Falls, Maura Olson of Nashua, Mark Olson of Little Falls and Michael Olson (Michelle) of Little Falls; her daughter-in-law Patti Ploof of Little Falls; her sister Theresa Johnson of St. Joseph; and also, Melanie, Michelle, Maura, Mark and Michael. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
