He was predeceased by: his wife Rose Schmidtbauer; and his brothers, John Januschka and Ed Januschka. He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Betty" Heinz (Allen) of Little Falls, MN, Helen Swanson (Tom) of Brainerd, MN, Aggie Graham (Mark) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Catherine "Cate" Thompson (John) of Milaca, MN, Jerry Januschka (Jackie) of Little Falls, MN, Ben Januschka (Peggy) of North Mankato, MN, Louise Heimler (Joe) of Menomonie, WI and Grace Hawkins (Brian) of Tucson, AZ; his grandchildren, Stephen Heinz, Julie Gruber, Angie Nelson, Sara Schmidt, Maria Ozanne, Beth Tippett, Andrea Johnson, Tessa Dahlstrom, Janelle Schrupp, Jolene Beisang, Josh Januschka, Laura Januschka-Blasing, Jonathan Heimler, James Heimler, Michael Hawkins and Nick Hawkins; his sisters-in-law, Beatrice Schmidtbauer, Carol Schmidtbauer and Leiha Larson; and his siblings, Ann Yoerg and Francis Januschka. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls.
