He is survived by: his children, Valerie Enfield (Gary) of Cook, MN, Brenda Thieschafer (Jim), Brian Grandstrand (Patty) of Chaska, MN, Bradley Grandstrand (Tammy) of Dayton, MN and Corey Grandstrand (Tracy) of Stillwater, MN.; his grandchildren, Heather Boisclair of Sauk Rapids, MN, Tom Wedan of Maple Plain, MN, Chris, Jenna, David Wedan of Maple Plain, MN, Stuart Grandstrand (Rocque) of Hawley, MN, Sarah Voje (Eric) of Maple Grove, MN, Blake Grandstrand of Stillwater, MN, Mitchell Grandstrand of Dayton, MN, Collin Grandstrand of Eau Claire, WI and Katelyn Grandstrand of Dayton, MN; and his siblings, Barb Sinn (Ward) and Keith Grandstrand of Coon Rapids, MN. He is also survived by 10 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

“This is (Mike) again. I know your dad (Rodney) missed your mom but the residence & myself rallied around him to get him over the ruff time & I think that helped him. Every day there was (2) things your dad would say to me when asked by me every day. He replied he is on this side of the grass & not to forget his (2) ice cream. If anything is to come of this your mom & dad are now together & (God) will re-unite them once again. I will no doubt miss them both & remember them forever.”

“I had the best relationship with your mother & your father (Rodney) over the years & having them both bring over the family for me to meet. Even though it is sad for not having them present anymore just remember they all thought of you guys with total love. One thing I will remember for along time your mother always begged me for more quiche & naturally I got for her & she always said she loved me. I often think about her still sitting next to your dad at table (2) in the dining room together”
