Hazel Swedal Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Swedal of Long Prairie, Minnesota, who passed away on December 5, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including : her mother Grace Bundy (Chapin) of Rural Clotho; her children, Eldon Swedal (Kathy), Gloria Mechels (Dale), Elaine Kunz (Robert) and Cheryl Toenyan; her grandchildren, Brian Swedal (Tammy), Erik Swedal, Toni Herzog, Brenda Williams (Trever), Alan Mechels (Jenny), Tyler Kunz (Abby), Travis Kunz Danielle (Myria), Hayli Toenyan and Anthony Loehrer; her father Neil Bundy; her grandchildren, Doug Swedal and Tamara Mechels; her siblings, David Bundy, Lee Bundy, Beulah Christopherson and Blanche Bundy Carol Judkins; her siblings-in-law, Helen Bundy, Mary Bundy, Will Christopherson and Keith Judkins; her daughter-in-law Vera Cooper; and her former life partner Elmer Swedal. She was also cherished by great - great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the family, they will then pass them onto Hazel's favorite organizations.
