He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Kivi and Phyllis Kivi; his sisters, Karen Gusa and Leanne Lind; his brother-in-law Bill Langhans; and his great-niece Jana Langhans.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Cynthia Elliott; his sons, Michael Pavelko, Ryan Oliver and Nicholas Kivi; and his siblings, Marilyn Rankila, Jan Langhans, Rodger and Roy Kivi. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
