He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Swenson and Helen Swenson (Moerke); and his sisters, Marlys Roloff and Sharon Maras. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Kruse; his children, Glenda DeJager (Berwin) of Brandon, Terry Swenson (Theresa) of Pipestone, Kevin Swenson (Kristi) of Jasper, LaDawn Swenson (Nick Brandt) of Hudson and Shaun Swenson of Luverne; and his siblings, Gordon Swenson of Hardwick, Gloria Ernston (Gary) of Lakeville, Janet Sudenga of Luverne, Cindy Cauwels (David "Red") of Adrian and Carol Swenson of St. Paul, Minnesota. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
