She was predeceased by: her parents, Julius Stein and Katherine Stein (Johansen); her husband Maurice Fitzer; her son Gary Fitzer; and her brothers, Clarence Stein, Raymond Stein and Leonard Stein.
She is survived by: her children, Gregg Fitzer (Laurie) of Surprise, Geff Fitzer (Jackie) of Sioux Falls and Sally Fitzer of Verona, Wisconsin; and her grandchildren, Gina Jacobsen (Kris), Katie Haugland (Dennis), Grant Fitzer (Alexandra), Brynn Fitzer, Tori Carper (Matthew), Chris Fitzer (Jessica Quittem), Mikki Fitzer and Connor Fitzer (Lauren Muller). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
