She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Helmke and Ella Helmke (Ehlers); her husband Ben; her siblings, Art Claussen, Norma Aldrich, Inez Loge and Arlene Loge; her grandsons, David O'Malia and Mark Pettit; her son-in-law Dean Fenske; and her close friend Charlotte Olson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Inez Swanson (Charles) of Seattle, Bonita Baarts (Larry) of Northrup, Nancy O'Malia (John) of Albuquerque and Gayle Fenske-Soma (Bob) of Madelia. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.
