He was predeceased by : his parents, Vernon Burgeson and Dorothy Burgeson (Pauley); his wife Jan Davies; his stepchildren, Pam Scow and Donald Scow; and his stepgrandson David Scow.

He is survived by : his daughter Crissy Gugler (Sean) of San Jose, California; his stepson Mike Burt of Washington; his stepgrandson Don Scow of Ohio; and his close friends, Theresa McHugo and Kevin Byro.

The family prefers memorials be given to Pheasants Forever.
