He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Brooks and Hilda Brooks (Anderson); his son Jack; and his sisters, Dr. Marion Brooks and Bess Van Cleve.
He is survived by: his wife Alvera Rose Biedscheid; his children, Randy (Paula), Frank (Karen), Rick (Paula), Tom (Becky), Joe (Karen) and Terri; his daughter-in-law Nancy; and his grandchildren, Amy Radunz, Ben Brooks, Dusty Brooks (Ashley), Kevin Brooks and Jason Brooks. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; many great grandchildren; step-great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.
