He is survived by: his wife Stacey Aulwes; his sons, Jamie Aulwes (Stacey), Steven Schultz (Makenzie), Jesse Aulwes (Allison) and Jakob Aulwes; his grandchildren, Bennett, Teigan, Jude, Grady, Hattie and Jordan; his siblings, Paula Ruesch (Rodney), Ceil Torgeson (Vern), Steve Aulwes and Tom Aulwes (Wanda); and his sister-in-law Debbie Aulwes.
