William Zwick Obituary

The passing of William Zwick of Maplewood, Minnesota leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 94. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Zwick and Ethel Zwick (Lockhart); his daughters, Judy and Jill; his siblings, Dorothy Nyberg, Donald, Francis "Jack" and David; and his son-in-law Kevin Charter.

He is survived by: his children, Lisa Maetche, Wade Zwick (Kathy), Lori Charter and Lynn Kienholz (Greg). He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren (with one on the way); many nieces, nephews, other extended family.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church (13060 Lake Blvd, Lindstrom, MN 55045). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Fort Snelling National Cemetery (7601 34th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55450).

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church in Lindstrom, MN or St. Croix Hospice.
