We are sad to announce that on February 5, 2020, at the age of 94, Bettie Mae Karlstad (Marshall, Minnesota), born in Arlington, South Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Jack" and Hannah Lohan (Sundberg); her husband Henry "Hank" Karlstad; her children, David Karlstad Sr. and Kathy Wentzell; her daughter-in-law Beverly Karlstad; and her brother Donald Lohan.
She is survived by: her son Doug Karlstad (LaDonna Thooft) of Lynd; her grandchildren, Cindy Boe (Chris), David Karlstad Jr. (Heidi), Chris Karlstad (Amanda Pudil), Terry Karlstad (Lori) and Jessica Karlstad (Jon Grams); her great grandchildren, Cole Boe, Noah Karlstad, Kyle Karlstad, Ashley Karlstad, Henry Karlstad, Kyle Krueger, Hunter Krueger and Kayleigh Krueger; her children-in-law, Jeff Wentzell (Kristy) of Dent and Dianne Karlstad (Harold Hess) of Lynd; her sister Mary Ann Asmussen (James) of Ramona, SD; and her friend Marilyn Kor of Russell. She is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to a Hospice Organization of donor's choice.
