She was predeceased by: her parents, Ole Rafnson and Sarah Rafnson (Snidal); her former spouses, Glenn Roy Avery and Armand Falasca; her husband John DeRoode; her granddaughter Michelle Avery; and her stepdaughter Janel DeRoode.
She is survived by: her sons, Daryll Avery (Pat) of Lisle, IL and Robert Avery (Sandy) of Gold Canyon, AZ; her stepchildren, Randy DeRoode (Sheila) of Ghent, Colette Patzer (Mark) of Marshall and Greta Langland (Craig) of Willmar; her grandsons, Michael Avery and Robert Jr. Avery (Katie); her stepgrandchildren, Heather Cattoor (Jay), Ryan DeRoode, Adam DeRoode (Chassidy), Hannah Gerber (Cassen), Austin Patzer (Megan), Maddie Langland and Mason Langland; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Seth, Abbey and Colton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
