He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Bednarek and Pauline Bednarek (Lozinski); his wife Alice Lipinski; his son-in-law Arvin "Red" Erickson; and his great grandchild Lynden John.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Erickson; and his brother Roy Bednarek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
