He was predeceased by: his parents, William Charles and Mabel Hess (Owens). He is survived by: his wife Avon of Marshall; and his children, Doug, John, Randy, Kathy, Marlow, Wayne and Paul. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
