She was predeceased by : her parents, August Banitt and Lilly Banitt (Brunkhorst); her husband Clarence Mehrkens; her grandsons, Jim and Tim Krismer; and her siblings, LeRoy Banitt, Violet Stiller and Eileen Groth.
She is survived by : her children, Darold Mehrkens (Trudy) of Mazeppa and Sharon Krismer (Gene) of Zumbro Falls; and her sister June Ohnstad of Wanamingo. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren.
